Catfish Sting Nets Hillcrest Predator

Hillcrest resident Joel Einhorn is charged with second degree attempted rape for allegedly attempting to lure a 13-year-old girl to meet for sex. According to Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown, an NYPD investigator posing as a 13-year-old girl responded to a personal ad allegedly posted by Einhorn on Craigslist entitled, “Daddy looking for ‘real’ Queens ‘girl’ No flakes (M4W)” in October 2016. Einhorn, 73, continued sending sexually explicit text messages to the investigator who told him several times that she was a 13-year-old girl. Cops arrested Einhorn when he arrived at a meeting spot he arranged with the investigator, still under the impression that the investigator was a 13-year-old girl “The defendant is accused of conversing online for a month with a person who he believed to be an underage teen girl,”DA Brown said. “Unbeknownst to the defendant, he was actually conversing with an undercover police officer. This case illustrates the tenacity of alleged sexual predators and the amount of time they are willing to expend grooming a teen to accomplish their goal of meeting in person an underage child for sexual relations.”

Far Rockaway Resident Charged With Hurling Cat Off Balcony, Stomping It to Death

Giovanni Olivo is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals for allegedly throwing a cat off a balcony and stomping the animal to death. Prosecutors say Olivo first threw the cat off the balcony to kill it, but the defenestration did not extinguish the last of the feline’s nine lives. Olivio then allegedly went outside, yelled, “you’re dead to this world” and stomped the cat in front of several witness, including children, prosecutors say.

Richmond Hill Pedophile Pleads Guilty to Raping Girl, 14, to Settle Drug Debt

Albert Premnauth awaits sentencing after pleading guilty to raping a 14-year-old girl to settle a drug debt. In 2016, the teen victim sent a nude video of herself to another friend, also a 14-year-old,as a joke on Snapchat, according to the Queens DA’s office then shared it with Kew Gardens resident Jacob Marcial, who told the victim that if she did not have sex with his drug dealer to pay off a debt, he would post the video online. Marcial forced the victim to meet Premnauth, 23, at his apartment in Richmond Hill. Queens DA Richard Brown said the girl told Premnauth that she was only 14-years old and begged him to give her time to pay the money instead of having sex with him, but he refused. “This case tragically demonstrates the danger of children sending explicit images or videos of themselves to their friends or posting them on social media — even as a joke,” Brown said in a statement. “Once a young person sends or posts an image or video, they lose control of that image and who has it or how it is used.”

Safetis’ former stepmother —his father’s ex-wife— called Safetis’ father to come break up the fight. The father went to his car to retrieve his club steering wheel lock to use as a weapon. Safetis managed to take the club away from his father and used it to bash his father in the head, killing him.

Surveillance Video Exposed Alleged Jamaica Drive-By Shooter

Victor Ocasio is charged with second degree murder for allegedly killing two people in a drive-by shooting in Jamaica. Prosecutors say Ocasio pulled up to a house on 170th Street in a red Kia Sportage and fired shots into the home killing two family members and injuring a third in April 2017. Home surveillance video seems to show Ocasio pulling the trigger and police say the murders may have been motivated by revenge, ABC7 reported last year.
