LaGuardia Naturalization Clinic Served 65 Immigrant Clients

A July naturalization clinic at LaGuardia College served 65 immigrant New Yorkers and helped clients save $21,580 in filing fees, say New York Lawyers for the Public Interest. It was just the beginning of a long process for clients and a lasting commitment for the attorneys who assisted them.

Attorneys Guide Queens Immigrants at LaGuardia Legal Clinic

Across Queens, attorneys are using their legal knowledge to assist noncitizens and resist the nationwide immigration crackdown.  

Tomorrow at LaGuardia College, the New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, Catholic Migration Services and the Center for Immigrant Education and Training at LaGuardia Community have teamed up with lawfirms Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, and volunteers from Goldman Sachs to host a naturalization workshop, designed guide green card holders working on complex naturalization paperwork.
